ULTRAWAVES has moved its headquarters to Karlsbad-Ittersbach in Baden-Württemberg. In joint premises with our industrial partner SONOTRONIC Nagel GmbH, we will continue to be there for you nationally and internationally from our new location.

Biogas plants today often operate on the edge of profitability. Operators must therefore carry out constant optimization work in order to be able to operate their plant profitably in the long term. The operator in Ense has therefore decided to use ultrasound on his plant.

Our partner from Romania, the company S.C. KEMATRONIC S.R.L. gained first groundbreaking results from their project SONOELCHEMCELL financed within EU Horizon 2020 Programme (NEPTUNE Blue Growth Accelerator).

At the symposium "biogas from straw" in Heiden (Germany) at the end of August, the main focus was on how expensive substrates, for example corn and cereals can be replaced by low-cost residues such as cereal straw, corn straw and also cattle and horse manure.

Dr. Klaus Nickel and ULTRAWAVES employees and partners have published new papers on the use of ultrasonic in water and environmental technology.

Our new high-power ultrasonic system was shown to the public the second time during IFAT, the World’s Leading Trade Fair for Water, Sewage, Waste and Raw Materials Management, in Munich during May 14th-18th. The attendance of visitors on our booth was overwhelming.

Dr.-Ing. Klaus Nickel spoke on March 28, 2018 at the Phosphorus Dialogue (Neumünster, Germany) on the topic: Ultrawaves Ultrasonic as an integrated solution for wastewater management.

Dr.-Ing. Klaus Nickel, Managing Director of ULTRAWAVES, was on 14 December 2017 in the Baltics in the field of biogas. As a guest speaker, he spoke at the biogas seminar on the topics: "Introduction of ultrasonic effects on organic substrates (biomass)" and "Introduction of ultrasonic equipment for biogas production: effects, benefits, case studies, discussions". The interest was high. The seminar was organized by our partner Ekotakas and the Latvian Biogas Association.
